Rose Kabuki, launched in 2018, is inspired by Japanese Kabuki theater, famous for its white makeup and sumptuous costumes. François Demachy wanted to translate this aesthetic into a light and powdery fragrance, reminiscent of a veil of musks delicately draped around a rose. This perfume is both an ode to the femininity and elegance of classic roses, while remaining modern and minimalist.

The fragrance opens with the bright freshness of the Damascena rose, supported by a hint of blackcurrant that adds a subtle fruity note. At the heart, a cloud of musks envelops the composition, creating a feeling of softness and lightness, like a delicate kimono. The powdery background accentuates this airy texture, reminiscent of the made-up faces of Kabuki actors.
