Bois Talisman is an enveloping fragrance that is part of the tradition of the Dior Private Collection, under the vision of perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Inspired by Christian Dior's superstitions and charms, this perfume dresses in a fascinating mystery, linking the power of cedar wood to the enveloping sensuality of a vanilla trilogy.

Christian Dior never left his talismans, convinced that they brought him luck in his art and creations. For his part, Francis Kurkdjian, sharing this belief, slips a protective sugar cube into the lapel of his jacket. Bois Talisman is thus born from the meeting of these personal rituals, combining the sacred wood and the reassuring greed of vanilla in a bewitching chemistry.

From the opening, a smoky flight rises, evoking notes of incense and resins, as if we were diving into the heat of a noble wood fire, where tonka beans and pieces of sugar slowly caramelize on the embers. The initial intensity gradually softens, giving way to the elegant structure of cedar wood, noble, imposing and refined (reminiscing the wood of the pencils used by the couturier to sketch his creations), before being warmed by a soft and cottony vanilla, enveloping like a veil of cashmere on the skin.
